This piece can be played in two ways.
Beginners can play the first section only:
Cello 1 shifts to fourth position
Cello 2-4 have very simple parts in first position only.
Advanced beginners / intermediate cellists play the first and second sections:
Cello 1 and 2 shift to fourth position
Cello 3 and 4 can be played in first position only, with more complex rhythms and fingerings.
