This arrangement merges the wind parts into the string parts, eliminating the need for wind players and timpani. I have also minimized the use of divisi, so it can be played using a smaller string orchestra. There are a few sections of divisi in Violin 1 only, not in any other parts.
I am calling the difficulty level "medium", referring to the orchestra parts, not the solo.
The solo cello part is unchanged. |
